After all that happened last week, the weekend was kind enough to smother me with fluffies to make me feel better. For some reason the fluff was following an "animal trend".

This afternoon, I watched Grizzly and Shirokuma being adorable cubs on a couch like so:

Then yesterday, cheachan and I choked on the cuteness of the September mount for Luminary Rise of the GoonZu. Behold, Rainbow Sheep!

Imagine yourself riding on this ball of rainbow cotton-candy. Beats driving a car to work for me, that's for sure lol. I blame cheachan for getting me into this game recently. The newsletter can be found here: http://bit.ly/QgirtQ. This month turns out to be Japanese Festival-themed!

I say, keep the fluff-and-love coming, September! I'm one feisty animal-lover and seeing furry cuddly creatures will be one sure fire way to help me get through this crazy month @_@

"The philosopher Empedocles preached that all life on earth began simply in rudimentary forms: Hands without arms, heads without bodies, eyes without faces. He believed that all these early forms combined, very gradually over time, creating all the variety of life you see before us. Interesting hm?" - Altair ibn La'Ahad

Altair: Only a mind free of impediments is capable of grasping the chaotic beauty of the world. This is our greatest asset.
Maria: But is chaos is something to be celebrated? Is disorder a virtue?
Altair: It presents us with challenges yes. But freedom yields greater rewards than the alternative.

"Why do our instincts insist on violence? I have studied the interactions between different species. The innate desire to survive seems to demand the death of the other. Why they cannot stand hand in hand? So many believed the world was created through the works of a divine power - but I see only the designs of a madman, bent on celebrating death, destruction and desperation." - Altair ibn La'Ahad

"You can always judge a man by the company he keeps." - Altair ibn La-Ahad

Altair: I know. But I have been ruined by curiosity, Maria. I want to meet the minds, explore all the libraries of the world, and learn all the secrets of nature and the universe.
Maria: All in one lifetime? It's a little ambitious...
Altair: Who can say? It could be that one life is just enough.

‎"Our origins seemed chaotic, unintended. With purpose and being instilled solely by the passage of time. Imposed by nature - and only later, by men. What should we do with this rare gift of life?" - Altair ibn La-Ahad

Here are the collected quotes and funny and meaningful conversations for Assassin's Creed 1 from my Deviantart. Some quotes are not available because they only appear depending on which assassination mission should the player start first. Since there are no subtitles, I had to listen again and again on Youtube. Feel free to correct me!

Enjoy reading!

Peace upon youCollapse )
